Dr. Tennenbaum's extensive postgraduate work, including four years in Taiwan and China, has put his level of expertise above and beyond the professional norm. His dedication to acquiring the most advanced knowledge made Dr. Tennenbaum one of the first oriental medical doctors to be certified by the Massachusetts and Florida Boards of Acupuncture. Dr. Tennenbaum has been licensed by the California State Board of Acupuncture since 1985 and the State of Washington since 1994.
When not treating patients, Dr. Tennenbaum teaches classes on Chinese internal medicine and herbology at several colleges of Oriental Medicine. His efforts in translating textbooks on various subjects of Traditional Chinese Medicine is helping to educate students and improve the quality of care throughout the country.

About Lea Tennenbaum LAc. LMT
Lea Tennenbaum, licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist received her masters degree in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from Bastyr University in 2018. While in school she spent 2 years working in the Bastyr Center for Natural Health as a student practitioner where she received extensive training in acupuncture techniques, clean needle protocols, Chinese herbal experience and more. After graduating from her masters program she returned to Bastyr to learn massage therapy.
Lea has a passion for both acupuncture and massage, learning what she can about both modalities to give her patients an optimal healing experience. She also enjoys sharing with her patients the why and how behind her treatments. By allowing her patients to participate in their own healing through mindfulness, Chinese dietary advice and more she hopes to empower her patients and offer a full treatment that extends beyond the clinic and into their everyday lives.
When Lea's not treating patients she enjoys spending her time in the outdoors. She's especially fond of exploring the Snoqualmie river and its many hidden gems. Feel free to ask her about local hikes, biking trails and river spots.
